Genocide of Gazans by Netanyahu & Biden Now Produces Soaring Price Inflation

On December 21st, CNBC headlined “Container rates hit $10,000 as ocean freight inflation soars in Red Sea crisis” and reported that because Yemen’s Houthis are targeting with drones and missiles all shipments that pass into the Suez Canal which extends northward from the Red Sea into the Mediterranean Sea, and because the Houthis have promised that these attacks will continue “until the Israeli aggression against our steadfast brothers in the Gaza Strip stops”, shipments between Europe and both Asia and east Africa now cost from two to five times as much as before the Israel US bombing of the Gaza strip in order to eliminate the residents there started on October 27th. The CNBC article fails to mention that the main inflation from this will be in Europe, but, clearly, that will be the case, because the directly affected international trade in this instance is mainly between consumers in Europe and sellers in Asia and in eastern Africa. However, that CNBC article focuses on the global impact, because, as that article makes clear, this squeeze there is forcing a re routing of international shipments throughout the world. Even the United States will experience some of the increased inflation, because that re routing places strains on all other ports.

The New York Times reports that Biden wants to kill the Houthis who are launching these attacks that are causing even more inflation in Europe than before, and of course he would want to do that because he’s the person who is supplying all of the weaonry that Israel is using in order to exterminate the Gazans, but “Striking Houthi targets in Yemen, as opposed to just shooting down attack drones, could quickly escalate into a tit for tat between American naval vessels and the group, and could even draw Iran further into the conflict.” Biden is apparently reluctant to do that, because a “tit for tat between American naval vessels and the group” might also produce serious American military losses, which would then harm his chances to retain the Presidency. His policy backing Israel and targeting the Palestinians for further destruction is essentially a continuation of what Trump’s was. Biden is simply continuing with Trump’s “Abraham Accords” policy of ignoring the Palestinians, just pretending that Palestinians’ rights should be ignored, but American voters would likely vent against Biden and for Trump about this matter because Biden happens to be the person who now occupies The White House and who now carries out this policy.

So, in any case: right now, Europeans will have inflation rates increasing even faster than before, so that Biden and Netanyahu can exterminate the 2.3 million Gazans.

Who is to Blame for the Genocide in Gaza?

Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of one of the most densely populated areas on this planet, the Gaza Strip, is genocidal because it is aimed at hospitals, schools, refugee camps, and not ONLY at possible military targets such as the Israeli regime alleges. Furthermore, Israel is harvesting body parts of the Palestinian corpses it is generating there, as the Gaza media office reports that “After examining the bodies [of corpses that Israel’s forces delivered on December 26th to the Gazan authority at the Karam Abu Salem border crossing], it is clear that the features of those killed had changed greatly in a clear indication that the Israeli occupation [force in Gaza] had stolen vital organs from them.”

The main difference between what Israel is doing now, and what Hitler’s Germany did in its Holocaust then, is that this time, it’s probably being done much faster because everyone who lives in that 365 square kilometer (141 square miles) “the world’s largest open air prison” called “Gaza” is being targeted to be either directly slaughtered by bombs and missiles, or else starved to death by Israel’s siege of that area, and, so, it can be much more efficiently and much faster conducted this time than when Hitler did it on an individual by individual basis by selecting out from the general population whom to slaughter and whom not to. This time, Israel already knows whom it will slaughter: the entire Gaza population there. It’s just like what America did when it nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki to start the Cold War against the Soviet Union in 1945. Or, as Eisenhower advised Truman to do that, “no power on earth could keep the Red Army out of that war [that “the Red Army” already actually were in] unless victory [by the US alone against Japan] could come before they [the Soviet forces] could get in.” So, Truman nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki in order to win Japan for America ultimately against the Soviet Union. Truman made that decision, to start the Cold War, on 25 July 1945. And Netanyahu can not turn back now from his commitment to “eliminate Hamas” without exterminating the Palestinians, who overwhelmingly support Hamas; and, though support by the Gazans for Hamas has increased 10% since the October attack by Hamas, support for Hamas on the West Bank is even higher, around 90% now, so, what could Netanyahu realistically hope to replace Hamas with? The answer is obvious: Israel is slaughtering the Gazans so as to avoid that problem. It will be a genocide there.

A recent poll in America found that by an overwhelming margin, far more Americans think that Hamas aims to genocide Israelis than think that Israelis aim to genocide Gazans. However, that finding is not surprising when one recognizes that the US Government itself is a 50 – 50 partner with Israel’s Government in perpetrating this genocide. and, as I reported on December 8th, “Biden backs Israel’s policy to eliminate all Gazans” but that he constantly denies it by alleging that he is pressuring Netanyahu to discontinue doing it, even while it is the case that though Israel is supplying the troops to do it, the US is supplying the weapons and the bombs and the missiles and the satellite intelligence that enables them to do it. This is a genocide that is being done by two means: Israel supplies the troops, and America supplies the intelligence and the weapons, to do it. Both are equally responsible for it.

Furthermore, America, all alone at both the UN Security Council and in the General Assembly, is the only nation that is blocking from either and both US bodies a resolution condemning this genocide and condemning Israel for doing it. Of course, since the US regime holds itself out as being superior to and above the United Nations, and the UN organization effectively allows that, there are NO resolutions at the UN that blame the US regime for this genocide, though it is a 50 – 50 participant in perpetrating it. Or, as Israel’s Jewish News Service reported on November 27th

Israel’s dependence on the United States was stated bluntly by retired IDF Major General Yitzhak Brick in an interview earlier this week.

“All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it’s all from the US. The minute they turn off the tap, you can’t keep fighting. You have no capability. (…) Everyone understands that we can’t fight this war without the United States. Period.”

On December 26th, Dave DeCamp at antiwar dot com headlined “US Has Delivered Over 10.000 Tons of Weapons to Israel Since October 7, Over 240 US cargo planes and 20 ships have made deliveries to Israel” and reported that

Two hundred and forty four American cargo planes and 20 ships have delivered over 10.000 tons of military equipment to Israel since October 7 to support the massacre in Gaza, Israel’s Channel 12 reported on Monday.

The US support has been crucial in Israel’s ability to keep up its relentless bombardment of Gaza. The Washington Post reported on December 9 that, up to that date, Israel dropped over 22.000 US provided bombs on the Gaza Strip.

The Pentagon has refused to disclose what types of weapons it’s been sending to Israel, but media reports have revealed some details. The Wall Street Journal reported on December 1 that the US had shipped 15.000 bombs and 57.000 155 mm artillery shells to Israel since October 7. (…)

US officials claim they are “concerned” about the massive civilian casualty rate in Gaza, but the Biden administration continues to provide unconditional military aid for the slaughter. A report from +972 Magazine revealed that Israel is intentionally targeting civilian areas as part of its war strategy.

Biden’s protestations of innocence in this genocide are just more lies from him. He is equally to blame for it along with Netanyahu.

**Israel Makes Official Its Ethnic Cleansing Objective for Gaza**

On the final day of 2023, December 31st, Reuters, a US and allied journalistic institution, headlined “Israeli minister repeats call for Palestinians to leave Gaza”, and opened “One of the senior figures in Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s right wing coalition called on Sunday [Dec. 31st] for Palestinian residents of Gaza to leave the besieged enclave, making way for Israelis who could ‘make the desert bloom’.” That phrase “make the desert bloom” was used by the zionist or Jewish fascist creators of the Israeli apartheid anti Palestinian nation back at its founding during the 1948 ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from the land, and even during the years leading up to that ethnic cleansing, as being an excuse for that ethnic cleansing, “to make the desert bloom.” The Reuters article continued

The comments by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who has been excluded from the war cabinet and discussions of day after arrangements in Gaza, appear to underscore fears in much of the Arab world that Israel wants to drive Palestinians out of land where they want to build a future state, repeating the mass dispossession of Palestinians when Israel was created in 1948.

So, that article’s headline could honestly have been “Israel Makes Official Its Ethnic Cleansing Objective for Gaza”, especially because even that article acknowledges “the mass dispossession of Palestinians when Israel was created in 1948”; and, so, Israel’s ethnic cleansing against Palestinians is acknowledged in that article as having originated that far back, and therefore as NOT being new after 7 October 2023.

Certainly, Gaza has not been “blooming,” and Israel has severely limited food and medicine being allowed into Gaza, so as to punish the Gazans for being there, and has made almost impossible for any Gazan to leave Gaza, ever since the 1990’s and especially after Gazans in 2006 elected Hamas to lead them. And thus Gaza is called by many people “the world’s largest open air prison.” So, on the one hand, Israel has been punishing the residents of Gaza by its siege against them, but on the other hand Israel hasn’t been allowing Gazans to leave Gaza; and, now, Israel is trying to perpetrate ethnic cleansing so as to replace the Gazans by Israeli settlers who will “make the desert bloom” in Gaza by those Jewish fascist settlers who will be supported by the very same Israel’s government that has been impoverishing the Gazans and prohibiting them from making their desert there bloom.

Polls show that 74% of Americans think Hamas wants Genocide of Israelis, and that 31% of Americans think Israel wants genocide of Gazans, which genocide Israel has actually wanted ever since Israel was founded in 1948. Polls also show that Americans also falsely believe that Hamas, which is supported by 88% of Palestinians, is rejected by Palestinians. How can a democracy exist in America if the public are so extremely deceived as this? It can’t and doesn’t.

Therefore, polls also show that Americans support America’s supplying to Israel’s government the airplanes and bombs and missiles and tanks and intelligence-support that make this ethnic cleansing by Israel’s soldiers possible.

Whether this ethnic cleansing will exterminate all Gazans, or instead exterminate some and expel the survivors into the adjoining desert in order for them to be either starved to death there or else become lifelined by the UN’s refugee agency, isn’t yet clear; but, by now, at least the ethnic cleansing of them has become a publicly admitted goal of Israel, and not merely, as it had previously been, Israel’s clear intention from its bombing of Gaza’s refugee camps, schools, hospitals, residential areas, and other civilian structures.
