CORRECTION: Michael was not arrested several times. He turned himself in on a warrant, then was arrested for trying to walk away with his partner me at Turtle Island, which is next to the main Oceti Sakowin camp. Then they took him on another “outstanding warrant” for merely walking on Native American side of the river-putting up prayer ties.
