CORRECTION: Michael was not arrested several times. He turned himself in on a warrant, then was arrested for trying to walk away with his partner me at Turtle Island, which is next to the main Oceti Sakowin camp. Then they took him on another “outstanding warrant” for merely walking on Native American side of the river-putting up prayer ties.
TYT Politics Reporter Jordan Chariton reported outside the federal courthouse in Bismarck, North Dakota on January 30th, during a hearing for water protector Michael Markus.
There, Jordan confronted an ATF officer who lied on the stand.
