Earth & Fire was A Dutch Progressive Rockband from the 1960‘s. The Group Started with Twin Brothers Chris, Guitar, and Gerard , Keyboards, Koerts. They were the Main Composers of the Band. Lead Singer was Jerney Kaagman Who Later Also Came to Prominence as Head of the Jury of TV Program ‘Idols‘.
Earth & Fire had A String of Hits in the Early 1970‘s Starting with “Seasons“, “Ruby Is the One“, and “Wild and Exciting“, Later came “Invitation“, “Storm and Thunder” and “Memories” between 1970 and 1973. “Wild and Exiting” was their 3rd Hit Which Reached N° 5 in the Dutch Top 40.
They Visited the Top Pop Studios Many Times.
This is the Very First Eart & Fire Recording of Top Pop, Broadcast on the First Episode of Top Pop on 22 September 1970.
Unfortunately Gerard Koerts Deceased on 20 February 2019 in Pergignan, France.
