I AM SENDING YOU LIKE LAMBS AMONG WOLVES

Jesus told his disciples he was Sending Them like Lambs among Wolves. Lambs have Very Different Atitudes from the Wolves. Lambs are Meek, Calm, Humble, Peaceful and Friendly. On the other hand, Wolves are Aggressive, Cunny, Violent, Destructive, Hostile and Merciless. It would be Very Risky and Dangerous for the Lambs to Move Into This Terrain as if All is Normal. This Message is a Way of Telling the Disciples to Be More than a Mere Lamb, to be Wise, Alert, Vigilant, Focussed, and Tactical. Jesus therefore told them Not to Carry Certain Things like Purse, Haversack, Sandals, et cetera. This was to Make them Aware of the Dangers Ahead and Prepare them to Succeed by Concentrating on the Mission. It will make them Sober and Determined to Carry out the Assignment Given to Them. When we Carry Many Things, There is Every Tendency for Us To Get Easily Distracted, Easily Trapped, Easily Carried Away by Cares and Worries that add No Value to Our Real Mission. Most Times, In the Midst of Plenty, we Forget What is Essential and Vital to our Mission and Visions in Life. We need to often take a Sober Distance and Get into Solitude where we Reflect on the Most Important Things about our Lives and Mission. This Exercise will Enable us to Be on the Track and To Jettison the Things That are Holding Us Back, the Things that are Making Us Easy Preys to the Wolves of the World. May the Lord give us the Grace, Wisdom and Enlightenment to Succeed among the Wolves of the World through Christ our Lord. Amen.
