How the US Israel Genocide of the 2.3 Million Gazans is Proceeding

YNET News, the most popular internet portal in Israel, headlined on January 29th, “Global Ammunition Shortage forces Israel to Limit Bombings”, and yet they reported that “Over 25.000 Tons of Weapons have Been Delivered to Israel via Approximately 280 Aircraft and 40 Ships from the U.S. since the Onset of the Conflict.” Furthermore, “The Heightened Demand for Armaments is Attributed to the IDF’s Extensive Bombing Campaigns in Gaza since the War’s Inception [on October 7th]. The Military Recently announced the Targeting of 30.000 sites in Gaza. A Security Source informed Calcalist that the IDF’s Firing Rate in the Ongoing Conflict mirrors that of A “Super Power,” Comparable Only to the Demonstrated Capabilities of the US. It is Speculated that the IDF’s Armament Usage might Even Surpass that of the Russians in the Campaign against Ukraine.” They refer to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022 in response to America’s having rejected on 7 January 2021 Russia’s demand that Ukraine not be admitted into NATO. Russia was concerned about that because if the US were to place a nuclear missile in Ukraine only 317 miles away from Russia’s Central Command in The Kremlin, then the US would be in a position to demand anything it wants from Russia or else would decapitate Russia’s Central Command in one five minute blitz missile hit. America proved that is was on a course intending to take over Russia, and so Russia invaded Ukraine so as to make that outcome impossible to occur.

There is no such mortal threat to the nation of Israel from Hamas or anybody which compares with the mortal threat to decapitate Russia’s Central Command that Ukraine’s admission into NATO would entail, and, so YNET’s analogy there was a false one. However, what YNET was saying about the Gaza campaign is that Israel’s bombing of Gazans since 7 October 2023 exceeds all of Russia’s bombings of Ukraine since 24 February 2022. Gaza is 141 miles with 2.3 million people; The size of Ukraine is 233.062 miles with 42.79 million people. It is 19 times as many people on 1.652 times as much land. If it is true that “the IDF’s [Israeli ‘Defense’ Force’s] armament usage might even surpass that of the Russians in the campaign against Ukraine,” then Israel and its armaments supplier, the US Government courtesy of US taxpayers because those are donations not loans and Israel is buying those weapons and ammunitions from US corporations, which are making a killing on not only Ukraine’s War against Russia but now also from Israel’s War against Gazans, must be extraordinarily committed to exterminating the residents of Gaza. Anything being said to the contrary of that would be mere propaganda.

Jewish News Service reported on November 27th,

Israel’s dependence on the United States was stated bluntly by retired IDF Major General Yitzhak Brick in an interview earlier this week.

“All of our missiles, the ammunition, the precision guided bombs, all the airplanes and bombs, it’s all from the US. The minute they turn off the tap, you can’t keep fighting. You have no capability. (…) Everyone understands that we can’t fight this War without the United States. Period.”

The US Government’s announced policy is to discourage Israel from completing this genocide, but the US Government has set no conditions on its continuing to supply to Israel’s Government the weapons, ammunition, and satellite intelligence with which to plan and carry it out.

Polls of Americans show that they think that though there is a danger that Palestinians might commit genocide against Israelis there is no danger that Israelis might commit genocide against Gazans, and also show that Americans believe that Hamas doesn’t really represent Palestinians and believe also that a vast majority of Palestinians now not only in the West Bank but in Gaza actually support the Palestinian Authority as representing themselves. Americans overwhelmingly believe all three of those falsehoods. But does this mean that if Americans knew that the vast majority of all Palestinians feel represented by Hamas but Not by the Palestinian Authority, Americans would want Israel to slaughter all Palestinians? That could be the case, but only polling on that question would be able to answer it. Whether the majority of the American people will approve, or instead disapprove, the genocide against Gazans that Israel and the US Government are doing, isn’t yet clear from any poll.
