BIEN Bienale

One of the Most Recognizable Dutch Contemporary Artists, who claims “There is No such Thing as Originality”. His Artistic Path was Marked by Extremely Fruitful Artistic Pursuits, with the Inclusion of Works in the international Art Collection and Exhibitions around the World (among others at the Prestigious documenta in Kassel and at the Venice Biennial where he represented his Country in the Dutch Pavilion), as well as Tragic Events such as the Loss of two Legs in the Explosion of a Bomb under his Car and the Forced Eviction from his own Rob Scholte Museum in Den Helder, for which he is still seeking his Rights. His Museum held an Extensive Collection of Authorial and Foreign Works of Art, including a Large Collection of Tapestries seized by the State.

The talk is Moderated by Polona Torkar.
The Artist Talk is Organized by BIEN Textile Art Biennial, Kranj, Slovenia.

BIEN 2021 | Textile Art Biennial promotes Interdisciplinary Artistic Connection with Projects and Residencies, presents Works by International and Domestic Artists, with Special Emphasis on the Best Works of Current Domestic and International Student Production, and understands that the Future of Art is also in Public and Digital Space.
