Breaking news. Iran’s supreme leader is killed during US-Israeli attacks on the nation. Tehran has announced 40 days of mourning in the wake of his assassination. The Islamic Republic pledges a harsh response to the assault on the nation, promising a massive offensive against American bases in the Middle East. Several US military sites including in Qatar and Bahrain have already been targeted by Iranian airstrikes. Fires erupt in Tel Aviv leaving one woman dead according to IDF which state Iranian ballistic missiles hit several residential buildings in the city. Plus – disturbing images ahead – incoming missiles hit a primary school in Southern Iran killing more than a hundred pupils and bringing the total number dead in the country to over 200 people.

As Hezbollah and Israel exchange cross-border rockets – leaving 20 people dead in Southern Lebanon, that country’s leader says both factions are dragging the region into a war the nation does not want. The Iranian capital comes under an intense bombardment for a second night, as Israel says it’s committed to launching strikes “at the heart of Tehran”. It follows the killing of the country’s Supreme leader on Saturday. In retaliation to the Israeli-US strikes, Iran launches a salvo of missiles at American military bases throughout the Middle East, claiming to have left more than 500 troops dead or wounded. The Pentagon though says three of its service members have been killed in action.
