“I would say to all of you a huge thank you, a giant I love you. I didn’t come from very much. I had to struggle and fight to become the woman that I am today and to become the artist that I am today. To be able to connect with people all over the world, I had to fight for my identity, and fight for my dream. So, I hope that tonight, what you take away from that performance is never give up on the dream of Japan, never give up on the dream of its people, and never give up on the dream of the future. Thank you.”

“I love the fans here so much. They’re so beautiful and they’re so kind. Their passion for music and for art is so generous and so authentic. One of my favorite parts of being in Japan is that I feel that the authenticity and genuine ness of music rises above all other things. They have no intentions of trying to see anything other than the ambition and the love of show business. I am a child of show business, I love show business and to be around an audience and people that appreciate show business as much as I do, to be quite honest, I wish I could move here.”
