Located on England’s Salisbury Plain, 80 miles southwest of London, Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument featuring the remains of a circle of huge standing stones, has long fascinated archaeologists as well as the general public. Today, the ancient site—whose true purpose remains a mystery—receives more than a million visitors a year.
For decades the official Stonehenge guidebooks have been full of fascinating facts and figures and theories surrounding the world’s greatest prehistoric monument. What the glossy brochures don’t mention, however, is the systematic rebuilding of the 4,000 year old stone circle throughout the 20th Century.
This is one of the dark secrets of history archaeologists don’t talk about…and as you can guess, the Disney-owned History channel doesn’t talk about it either. And that’s the period of time they had the builders at Stonehenge recreate the most famous ancient monument in Britain as they thought it ought to look.
This picture shows workers on the site in 1901 in a restoration which caused outrage at the time but which is not referred to in official guidebooks.
Of course it would mean that Stonehenge, the crown jewel of Britain’s heritage industry, is not all it seems. I’m sure people would be surprised to know that much of what the ancient site’s millions of visitors see, only dates back dates back less than 50 years.
I know…it’s hard to believe…but here is the proof!

The Henge was restored to near original by raising the stones from where they fell. What is not mentioned is that England was covered with Henges mostly broken up with fire and water and used in stone buildings, churches and walls. Stonehenge was missing half its monoliths due to farmers and what was raised up was done over cement to ensure they were stable. The real Henge was built several hundred years before and looked nothing like this one with wooden poles and the blue sarson stones only in a half circle.
Now the Henge is classed as an ancient monument, and the UK’s biggest tourist attraction, this was not so in the 1950′s when the work was done and it was effectively a discovery at a time when 90% of the countries cities and industry was being rebuilt with the nation just coming out of the rationing period. Its raising was not even really noticed by the nation being a forgotten monument which was in the middle of an army training range and was about to have a road cut through it. It’s real champion was the National Trust which in the 1920′s onwards campaigned to save the site and is responsible for its preservation and restoration. By what I mean by restoration is that the remains were not left in situ but restored to how that times archeologists thought the site was originally. Today with better excavation, computer modelling and architects we know better that the site was rebuilt several times but to say it is FAKE is FALSE. Yep. Found it weeks ago. They actually built it from scratch. Those ‘old’ stones, were not old. There wasn’t anything on the ground, that was part of the ‘fake’. They built the entire thing, supplied the stones and aged it, all of this was filmed.

Yea, I saw on another site pictures of men stippling the (formerly solid and dark) stones to make them look old and worn. They did it with some kind of paint and cloth. The site says it was rebuilt in 1954, but 1958 could be true, as well. I didn’t know that people can no longer visit Stonehenge. Why go to the visitor’s center and not see the actual site? Who would bother to do that?

“alien”. Alien = the fallen angels. Yes. They do get around in saucer crafts and much much more.
The more we sin, the more God lets more of them out the portals of hell onto the earth plain.
In essence, we’ve brought them here ourselves. It’s God’s punishment to mankind.
I’ve recognized ‘some’ of them in my daily life (and they know it). They immediately turn their face and eyes away from my gaze and some of them even grin. I’m the least likely type they would expect to know of them. They know I know, the minute I walk into a room. They shape shift to that of humans and even animals. I haven’t noticed them in animals yet, but I do check my dogs periodically.
The fallen angel shapeshifters seem afraid I’d tell them out loud what they are (and others might hear it), so I don’t say anything. I just want to see and verify for myself.
It’s enough for me to know that they know I know. It’s kept between me and them. After we leave, I do inform my spouse, quietly, but that’s it.
You all have had interaction with them also, but you just don’t know it. You don’t know it because you are not paying full attention. You do not sense it either.

Largely because it destroys a false narrative, besides which I was in the University of Readings Cybernetics department in 1997 did a study of the sounds made by the inner stone circle to see the effects and what instruments were played in prehistoric times.
The stones are real, every University possibly on the entire planet has absolutely no papers on fake henge(and the henge is part of a multi hectare site strewn with ancient monuments covering salisbury plain), what it does do with other ancient monuments is upset a religious point of view based on a 5000 year old earth.

Actually, the original stonehenge was erected to cast a distinctive shadow every September 23rd, displaying an enormous raised middle finger.
The ancients referred to this shadow as “the flipped bird” cast off by the sun, and is resurrected by faithful theorists each and every September to commemorate man’s folly.

If anybody takes the time to compare the older drawings and paintings of stonehenge against any modern photo, you can clearly see that in 1820 & 1835 when the British artist John Constable sketched the monument there were 6 horizontal lintel blocks in place on the outer circle of Sarsen stones and 2 horizontal lintel blocks still in place on the inner Horse Shoe Trilithons. A total of 8 horizontal lintels.

Henry Browne’s Guidebook to Stonehenge and Avebury
The EARLIEST GUIDEBOOK to Stonehenge was published in 1823 and was written by Henry Browne, the first full-time guardian. This position created to ensure the protection of the monument in response to increasing numbers of tourists the previous year, but Henry also took it upon himself to act as the site’s historian. Researchers discover HIDDEN Stonehenge ARCHEOLOGY
Archaeological researchers in England have discovered evidence of NEW HIDDEN MONUMENTS NEAR the prehistoric site of STONEHENGE in southern England. (Reuters)
Today, the word “Stonehenge” evokes an image of an eerie stone circle standing alone on a windswept plane.
But new digital maps show the prehistoric MONUMENT didn’t always look that way. Those 24-foot-tall, 90,000-pound blocks we still find so impressive were actually PART of a MUCH LARGER COMPLEX of SHRINES —
INCLUDING an EVEN-LARGER “SUPER HENGE” nearly half a kilometer in diameter.
Using magnetometer readings, ground-penetrating radar surveys and 3D lasar scans, researchers were able to map 17 PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN STRUCTURES THAT ERE ONCE NEIGHBOURS to STONEHENGE.

The maps, which were published Wednesday, were composed using magnetometer measurements, ground-penetrating radar surveys and 3D laser scans by researchers at the Stonehenge Hidden Landscapes Project.
“It was like a large archaeological, geophysical circus come to town,” says project co-leader Vincent Gaffney, an archaeology professor at the University of Birmingham. “We had tractors pulling magnetometers, bikes, everything.”
Driving this machinery across the field surrounding Stonehenge, archaeologists were able to “SEE THROUGH ” THE GROUND to detect traces of what once had been.
Those traces appear as smudges on the landscape, looking more like microscope images of amoebas than the remains of a giant stone shrine.

But Gaffney says that the use of multiple technologies let his team “squeeze the majority of information that is available” out of the landscape. And from a series of grainy images, archaeologists were able to reconstruct 17 distinct structures spanning an area the size of 1,250 soccer fields.
Among the new finds are PREHISTORIC PITS THAT FORM “ASTROLOGICAL ALIGNMENTS”,
A TIMBER STRUCTURE …PREDATING…STONEHENGE in which BODIES of the DEAD were RITUALLY “DEFLESHED”

As Legend Has It
The legend of King Arthur provides another story of the construction of Stonehenge. It is told by the twelfth century writer, Geoffrey of Monmouth, in his History of the Kings of Britain that Merlin brought the stones to the Salisbury Plain from Ireland. Sometime in the fifth century, there had been a massacre of 300 British noblemen by the treacherous Saxon leader, Hengest. Geoffrey tells us that the high king, Aurelius Ambrosius, wanted to create a fitting memorial to the slain men. Merlin suggested an expedition to Ireland for the purpose of transplanting the Giant’s Ring stone circle to Britain. According to Geoffrey of Monmouth, the stones of the Giant’s Ring were originally brought from Africa to Ireland by giants (who else but giants could handle the job?). The stones were located on “Mount Killaraus” and were used as a site for performing rituals and for healing. Led by King Uther and Merlin, the expedition arrived at the spot in Ireland. The Britons, none of whom were giants, apparently, were unsuccessful in their attempts to move the great stones. At this point, Merlin realized that only his magic arts would turn the trick. So, they were dismantled and shipped back to Britain where they were set up (see illus. at right) as they had been before, in a great circle, around the mass grave of the murdered noblemen. The story goes on to tell that Aurelius, Uther and Arthur’s successor, Constantine were also buried there in their time*.

Yes you just certainly did not want to attend a ceremony to Odin in one, Druids are fairly recent and only date to late bronze age the Celtic pantheon requiring a select sacrifice of a few selected pure individuals from the elite of society did not seem to have caught on in the continent and was pointless even then since the gods were meant to have departed this earth to an inner one and never asked for them anyway.

OVER £14,000 has been raised in three months for the Protection of Stonehenge. More is urgently needed.
In the first week of August 1927 the following letter appeared in the leading London and provincial newspapers. The signature of Mr. Lloyd George, who was travelling, arrived after the letter had been published:

SIR,
A Stonehenge Protection Committee has been formed, the object of which is indicated by its title. We desire earnestly to support its appeal to the public for funds.
It is now nine years since Sir Cecil Chubb made the nation the magnificent present of the Stonehenge circle itself; and the great stones are safely in the charge of the Commissioners of Works. The land of the Plain around them, however, is still private property. So long as it remains in private hands, there is an obvious danger that the setting of Stonehenge may be ruined and the stones dwarfed by the erection of unsightly buildings on the Plain.
Any visitor to Stonehenge may at this moment form a notion as to what, if steps are not at once taken, may happen to the Stonehenge section of the Plain. During the war the military authorities found it necessary to erect an aerodrome and rows of huts very near the circle. These have reverted to the owner of the land, but they are still standing. In recent months an enterprising restaurateur has built a bungalow, the Stonehenge Cafe, within hail of the stones, though happily just out of sight of them. The conditions of modern transport make it extremely likely that this structure, if no preven- tive measures be adopted, will be the first of many, and that the monoliths will in time be surrounded by all the accessories of a popular holiday resort. The Stonehenge ring, as every British child has learnt to picture it from his earliest years, will no longer exist.
The solitude of Stonehenge should be restored, and precautions taken to ensure that our posterity will see it against the sky in the lonely majesty before which our ancestors have stood in awe throughout all our recorded history.
We are glad to be able to state that options have just been secured for the purchase of an area of the Plain which includes the whole of what may be called “the Stonehenge sky-line.” Should the purchases be effected, the Air Force buildings will be removed, further building will be prevented, and the valuable archeological remains of the site permanently protected from the plough.
The land purchased will be placed under the guardianship of the National Trust; and part at least of the revenues derived from rents for grazing, etc., will it is hoped, be available for the further protection of the archaeological treasures and amenities of Salisbury Plain.
The total area under consideration is 1,444 acres; the sum aimed at is about £35,000. The sum is small compared with several amounts recently raised for the preservation of great national monuments; and here we have a monument unique in its fame and significance. A substantial beginning has already been made; and a first sub- scription. list is appended to this letter. The need is urgent. Projects are already in existence which would involve extensive building and the laying of water mains; and one important option to purchase expires at the end of August. Cheques should be made out to the National Trust (Stonehenge Fund), and crossed Barclay’s Bank, and sent to the Secretary, 7 Buckingham Palace Gardens, S.W.1.

As a result of this appeal, and the enthusiastic labour of a Committee including representatives of the National Trust, the Wiltshire Archaeological Society, the Society of Antiquaries, acting with the cordial approval of the Office of Works, half the area in question is already secure. The position may be briefly explained.
THE THREE PLOTS
Short options were, in August, secured by the Committee on three plots which include areas Of 389 acres, 404 acres, and 650 acres respectively.
PLOT A
This plot is that to the south and south-east of the stones, which has for years been defaced by the derelict aerodromes and hutments. The cost of this was £8,000. The money was secured before the end of October. PLOT A IS SECURE IN THE NATIONAL POSSESSION FOR EVER, AND THE DEMOLITION OF THE BUILDINGS HAS ALREADY BEGUN.
PLOT B
This part of the Stonehenge area lies towards Amesbury, and the threat of building from that quarter is serious. The purchase price is £8,ooo. OWING TO A NOBLE DONATION OF £5,000 BY AN ANONYMOUS LADY WHO HAD ALREADY SUBSCRIBED £1,000, AND A TIMELY GIFT OF £500 FROM THE GOLDSMITHS’ COMPANY, THE PURCHASE OF THIS PLOT HAS ALSO BEEN COMPLETED.
PLOT C
There remains, therefore, the third plot: 650 acres to the north of the Devizes Road. This tract, which includes the southward-facing road frontage immediately opposite the stones, is in obvious and immediate danger of building, and the price asked is £16,000. UNLESS IT IS SAVED THE WHOLE WORK OF THE COMMITTEE AND THE SUBSCRIBERS WILL HAVE BEEN IN VAIN) AND STONEHENGE WILL HAVE A SOLITUDE TO THE SOUTH AND A STREET TO THE NORTH.
THE HEART OF ENGLAND
That the leaders of all political parties should unite in appealing for such a cause is not surprising. Salisbury Plain is the greatest of our archeological sites, and Stonehenge, a mysterious legacy from the dim beginnings of our civilization many centuries before the Romans came, is the heart of the Plain. Causes-and good causes- are appealed for every day, and it is evident that not everything worth “saving” can be “saved.” But we have not two Stonehenges, and our generation will be vilified by all posterity if we allow the surroundings of this monument, the frontispiece to English history, to be ruined beyond repair.
