Mail over de Verdwenen Chandeliers in de Oranje Zaal van Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki, Japan | Crippled Dear Mr Rob Scholte, Hereby I am writing to you because recently I received an unfortunate video update of our collaborative art piece “Après Nous Le Deluge“ in the Oranje Zael of HTB city in Nagasaki, Japan. With astonishment and shock, I saw the work has been deliberately Disfigured. At no time were you or I consulted about these changes made by the HTB, which is very concerning for us as professional artists. Below I have taken the time to outline the inaccuracies of our art piece. They are as follows • Missing are four bronzed traffic light chandeliers which are very important to the overall art piece. • There is A ring of cheap looking black spotlights lighting the wall painting. • The four benches are placed in the middle of the room instead of their original location along the walls. • The bicycle pump fences, which were designed to keep your wall painting from being damaged by the public, appear to be missing.
